Look unto Jesus

In the above verse, the cloud of witness refers to other men and women of God around us. With that the bible says though they are around us we should RUN OUR RACE LOOKING UNTO JESUS. But are we “looking unto Jesus” or those people, who are set before us by God as a witness of leading a spiritual life? We mostly tend to go after them, hoping spiritual growth through them, following them in their race. So if we are lacking any blessing, we may get help through them but God wants us to directly look unto Him. As the verse clearly asks us to lay aside our every weight, i.e our worries, sorrows, anxieties and fears, and all our sins to look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of faith, who is faithful enough to lead us in faith.

SEEN, STILL NOT BELIEVED!!!

    Praise the Lord dear friends, the lady in the above verse is none other than a Shunammite women, whos son is lying dead in her house and she is going to a man of God, Elisha for telling him the same, but friends, see the amount of faith she is having that she says ''It is well", when someone asks her "Is it well with your child?". Dear friends do we have that faith. Ofcourse she didn't had that faith from the starting either, in II king 4:16, she didn't believe when the man of God prophesies that she will have a son within a year, but once when she saw the wonderful works of God, she believed and in II king 4:35 her son raised again. Dear friends how many wonderful and marvelous things God have done for us, what more you want to believe. May God bless you accordingly.
